Guesstimate is an Experimental Progressive Rock group based out of New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA that was formed in 2021. The band brings a nostalgic mix of the 1970/1980's progressive rock and jazz fusion movements to the modern music world, while maintaining a genuine and original sonic expression that takes the genre to new and unexplored territories. With a unique four-piece lineup that incorporates percussion, guitar, bass, trumpet, flugelhorn, synthesizers, flute, and occasionally even accordion, Guesstimate creates complex, genre-bending compositions filled with overlapping melodies, time signatures, and rhythms that instill a wide range of emotions into their audience. Guesstimate also makes heavy use of improvisation and dynamics, giving entirely unique experiences to every single performance.
