A Halo Called Fred
Your hosts for the evening, A Halo Called Fred, have spent decades making the geekiest sounds to spring from guitar, bass, violin, and Tupperware. Their music is featured in Burlesque shows, movie soundtracks, fairy festivals, Steampunk events, and any geeky gathering that will degrade themselves by having them! Their message is always: “We Love You All!”

John Minus
John Minus is a comedian, writer, and all-around great guy who lives and breathes his home state of New Jersey. From Race to Role-Playing games, John can speak intelligently (but not necessarily sanely) about several topics, and is known for being able to relate to any audience. John wants to re-invent the image of what a Suburban Comic can be. He’s performed at Broadway Comedy Club in the Stand-Up 360 festival, Comix at Foxwoods, and Greenwich Comedy Club among others. John also produces his own comedy show, the Non-Productive Comedy Show.
Lady Gypsy, Professional Monstrosity
After over a decade with Karnevil Sideshow, Lady Gypsy has gone solo! Bringing a rather Gen X personality to east coast entertainment, Lady Gypsy mixes traditional sideshow acts and escapes with comedy and angst. (She even has panels and lectures for events and her own traveling Cabinet of Curiosities!) Working everything from Renaissance Faires, pirate festivals and oddities events to sci Fi, fantasy, steampunk and horror conventions. This bad a$$ lady does it all with humor and a LITTLE grace.
Jaeda
She's not as nice as she seems. Jaeda is a Philadelphia-based professional belly dancer that shimmied onto the burlesque stage in 2016. She has not stopped since, being regularly booked throughout the area as well as the Philadelphia Burlesque Festival and Panama Burlesque Festival. She is the producer of Philly's premier Nerdlesque monthly show Dark Side Burlesque, all QPOC show Melangerie, and several charity events.
About Steampunk Alchemy Fest:
Steampunk Alchemy began as an experiment between friends who shared the same geeky/nerdy passions. We were an extension of the Freaky Mutant Weirdo Variety Show, and hosted the summer music festivals at Vasa Park from 2022 through 2024.
At the start of 2024 we rebranded the festival to Steampunk Alchemy Fest, in order to better capture the wide variety of hobbies and interests among our patrons and guests.
